сентября 10, 2009 / 00:09 Japonaiserie — inspiration
«Urbanix Gallery is proud to present Japonaiserie: A group exhibition featuring works by Zoya Cherkassky, Tatyana Luxemburg and Lena Revenko. The opening reception takes place on Thursday, September 10th at 8PM and runs through October 12th.»
So if you are in Israel the next month, please, welcome. I’ll be in the gallery tomorrow for the opening show! I would like as well to show you a little part of my inspirations by japanese culture. Utagawa Toyokuni, a great master of woodblock prints, the most amazing of Kabuki actors. ![]() MOE, a magazine of contemporary art and children book’s illustration. Actually, all my art way started with a help of one of MOE’s editors and now a friend of mine, Morishita Noriko. ![]() «Retoro Style» — book with collections of images from old days in Japan ![]() Shimada, fashion designer ![]() Japanese children books. I have at home a big collection! Especially I love works of Suzuki Koji. ![]() Ryu Itadani — amazing artist from Tokyo. ![]() Luxirare — very intriguing blog of fashion, food and objects. ![]() Koji Arai, japanese fashion designer (or architect?), author of the fashion show «Last Supper» ![]() I have no idea, what’s that. But it is beautiful! ![]() © 2007—2010 Lena Revenko |
